Susan Power, Founder & CEO

Susan is an entrepreneur and the founder of Power HR Inc, a boutique human resources company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. Our company vision is to accelerate leadership effectiveness with a focus on Millennial and Generation Z talent.

Susan believes in Dan Martell's leadership philosophy of "hustle to help".  As a SheEO Activator, Susan believes that entrepreneurship is the growth engine of our economy.  Susan built her consulting skills working in Toronto for seven years including at the global management consulting firm Accenture. In 2016, Susan sold her first HR consulting business (Higher Talent) founded in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador and then spent two years in an Executive HR Director role at JD Irving Limited, before returning to entrepreneurship.

Susan is a Results Trained Brain Based Coach (Neuroleadership Institute), a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Calgary. Susan can be reached at susan@powerhr.ca.
